Gary did an amazing job installing a new hardwood floor in my family room and matched it perfectly with my other flooring. He was very accommodating with my schedule and dogs and responsive to my requests. I highly recommend him for new flooring.

This review is long overdue. Gary refinished the floors in our home and replaced and repaired the wood as needed. He was able to match the wood perfectly so it all looks brand new. The footprint of the house had changed at some point and when we pulled up the wall to wall carpeting we saw that there was lots of plywood that all needed to be replaced with oak. He blended in the new wood with the existing floor and made sure that the wood was laid out just like it was in the other rooms. We love these floors and were glad to have found Gary.

Gary was the absolute best person for our job! During demolition, we found a leak in our bathroom. He never even flinched when faced with an additional repair. He just assured us that “we’d take care of it”. He did just that! His work is impeccable, meticulous and absolutely gorgeous! From understanding what work and prep is involved to choosing a color, making the decision to have your hardwood floor refinished is a difficult one. Gary made the process easy with his simple estimate process and a step by step explanation of how things would work. He gave us a start date that fit our summer plans perfectly, was prompt every day and finished in exactly the amount of time he estimated. The floor looks great and we love the color! One of the fundamentals of hiring contractors is know who actually does the work, and in the case of Jones Floor Designs, Gary and one associate do all the work every single day. Gary and his son did a great job on our floors. Our house is from the 40s and needed to be totally refinished and some parts of the flooring needed to be replaced. The process was simple, clean, and the finish was more than we could have hoped for. We also felt that the price was VERY fair. Gary was easy to reach for questions and even came back out one evening during the process to show us some extra stain samples when we were struggling to pick a finish. Could not have asked for a better outcome or easier/nicer guys to work with.
